Obituary of LUX, Mildred Leota Shawnee County, KS 1968 Topeka Daily Capital, Friday, March 8, 1968, page 6 Mildred Lux, Denison, Dies In Topeka Mrs. Mildred Leota Lux, 58, Denison, died Thursday afternoon in a Topeka hospital. Mrs. Lux was born Nov. 14, 1909, in Williamstown. She had lived in Denison 17 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church, Denison. Survivors include three daughters. Mrs. LaRita I. Clark, Valley Falls, Mrs. Juanita M. Hopkins, Denison, and Mrs. Mary M. Stapel, Meriden; five sons, Robert A. Lux and Harold J. Lux, both of Denison; William E. Lux, Tonganoxie, John D. Lux and Richard L. Lux, both of Lawrence; four sisters, Mrs. Florence Baker, Seneca, Mrs. Buelha Baker and Mrs. Margaret Bookout, both of Lawrence, and Mrs. Maxine Shirk, Kansas City, Kan.; and 28 grandchildren. Services will be announced by Rumsey Funeral Home, Lawrence. Burial will be in Buster Cemetery, northeast of Perry.
