Madge Mann Is Dead at 79.
Mrs. Madge Emore MANN, 79, 3390 Tara, died Friday at Long Beach, Calif., where
she had been staying with a daughter the past six weeks.
She was born Dec. 10, 1885 in Topeka and spent most of her life in Topeka. She
wa a member of Kansas Avenue Methodist Church and the Women's Relief Corps. 
Her husband, Carter W. Mann, died in 1949.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bernice SHREVES, Long Beach, Calif., and
Mrs. Velma COUNTER, Oakland, Calif.; a son, John Edward Mann, 3390 Tara; two
sisters-in-law, Mrs. Ella BUELL, 1529 Topeka, and Mrs. Leta ANDERSON, Long
Beach, Calif.; two grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in
Memorial Park Cemetery.
