Clara McCracken Of Overbrook Dies.
Overbrook.--Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Methodist Church here for
Mrs. Clara Jane McCRACKEN, 99, Overbrook, who died Saturday at a Lyndon nursing
home.
She was born Sept. 29, 1866 at Valley Brook south of Overbrook and spent most of
her life in the Valley Brook community. She was a member of the Overbrook
Methodist Church and was a charter member of the Valley Brook Club.
Her husband, Sidney A. McCracken, died Jan. 17, 1936. A son and daughter also
preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Luella BODMAN, Seattle, Wash., Mrs.
Stella HOLLIS, Overbrook, and Mrs. Helen STAFFORD, Kirkland, Wash.; 17
grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Valley Brook Cemetery. Baker Funeral Home at Overbrook is in
charge of arrangements.
