John A. McGovern a Victim of Influenza. John A. McGOVERN, 711 Lincoln street, died yesterday of influenza and pneumonia at Fort Benjamin Harrison. Mr. McGovern was the son of Mr. and Mrs. James McGovern, 402 Buchanan street. Before going into war service, Mr. McGovern was night operator at the Rock Island depot and had been a resident of Topeka for the past four years. He leaves a widow. He left four weeks ago as a member of Co. F., Signal Corps of railroad engineers. Funeral announcements later.
