Ila McPherson Is Dead at 27.
Tonganoxie.--Mrs. Ila Nadine McPHERSON, 27, Tonganoxie, died Saturday at the
University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City. She had been ill for several
months.

She was born Jan. 3, 1938 at Washington, Kan., and had lived in Tonganoxie since
Aug. 1, 1964.

Mrs. McPherson was a member of the Church of the Brethren. 

Her husband, Jerry McPherson, is a teacher at Tonganoxie High School.
Besides her husband of the home, survivors include a daughter, Krista McPherson,
and two sons, Richard Lee McPherson and Mark Alan McPherson, all of the home;
her mother, Mrs. Rena Gauby, Tonganoxie; two sisters, Mrs. Merle BRENT, 2239 N.
Taylor, Topeka, and Mrs. Fern LUHNOW, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; three half
sisters, Mrs. Hazel SMART, Beattie, Kan., Mrs. Nora Viola COPE, Washington,
Kan., and Mrs. Leota BELL, Oakdale, Calif.; a half brother, Lester GAUBY,
Washington, Kan.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of the Brethren, McLouth, with
burial in McLouth Cemetery.

Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie, is in charge of arrangements. Friends may
call at the mortuary chapel after 1 p.m. today.
