Wednesday February 22, 1961 Mrs. Esther M. Means. Services for Mrs. Esther M. MEANS, 65, of McLouth, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in McLouth. She died Monday at her home in McLouth. She was born Sept. 4, 1895, in Millwood, Kan., and lived in the McLouth community most of her life, except for eight years when she was a resident of Lansing. She returned to McLouth about two years ago. Mrs. Means was a member of the EUB Church at McLouth. Survivors include her widower, Sam R. Means of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Ruty RYAN of Route 2, Leavenworth, and Mrs. Lela Grace LOBB of McLouth; two sons, Warren S. Means of McLouth and Glen E. Means of Phoenix, Ariz.; four sisters, Mrs. Grace HOUSH of Mission; Mrs. Myrtle SCHROEDER of Leewood, and Mrs. Bessie SHARKEY and Mrs. Myra Gladys WELLMAN, both of Oskaloosa; two brothers, Glen ROGERS of Oskaloosa and Charles Rogers of Kansas City, Kan., and eight grandchildren. Burial will be in the McLouth Cemetery.
