R.E. Metzger Dies; Ozawkie Rites Slated.
Ozawkie.--Robert E. METZGER, 84, died in his home here Wednesday morning.
He was born Dec. 31, 1880, near Ozawkie and spent his entire life in that
community. He was a retired carpenter and construction worker.
Survivors are his wife, Mary, of the home; a step-daughter, Mrs. Zelma SMITH,
Nevada, Mo.; and a sister, Mrs. Grace KEIM, Ozawkie.
Services will be announced by the Hampton Funeral Home, Oskaloosa.
