MARSTALL - Topeka Kansas USA - 1988 ~~~~%*** ~ ***%~~~~ The Topeka Capital-Journal, Saturday, December 17, 1988 p.9c Mrs. Nellie M. MARSTALL St. Marys - Mrs. Nellie M. MARSTALL, 82, St. Marys, died Friday, Dec. 16, 1988, at a Topeka hospital. Mrs. MARSTALL was born Jan. 22, 1906, in Kaw Township near St. Marys, the daughter of Leo and Abby DRURY VAN HOLE. She was a member of the auxiliary to Hoy-Heim Post No. 178 of the American Legion, the Farmers Wife Club, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the altar sodality of the church, all at St. Marys. She was married to George H. MARSTALL on April 3, 1939, at St. Marys. He died April 3, 1985. A son, James J. MARSTALL, died in 1974. Survivors include five sons, George L. MARSTALL, Ottawa, Charles S. MARSTALL, Arlington, Va., Norman F. MARSTALL and Lawrence E. MARSTALL, both of St. Marys, and Kenneth P. MARSTALL, Topeka; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Marys. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery at St. Marys. The auxiliary to Hoy-Heim Post No. 178 of the American Legion will conduct a short service at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys, with a parish rosary to follow.
