Mason Dead. Faithful Watchman at Hall's Won Name 'Hall's Town Clock.' Edward Allen MASON, 73, died in the Topeka hopsital yesterday. A heart attack ended his long illness. Mr. MASON had lived in Topeka about 30 years. He was born in Hamilton, O., August 24, 1860. For eight years he was night watchman at the Hall Lithographing Co. and was so punctual a worman he won the title of "Hall's town clock." Mr. MASON belonged to the Scottish Rite and York Rite Masonic bodies in Topeka and Orient lodge No. 51, A.F. & A.M. No relatives are known to survive. Funeral services will be at the Wall-Diffenderfer mortuary at 3:30 o'clock Friday afternoon, conducted by the Masons. Fellow employes of Halls, all of the press room, will be pall bearers.
