Louis E. MATIGNON, 71, of ?09 Leland street, died Wednesday night in the Topeka hopsital. He was bron in 1862 in Paris, France. After leaving there he visited serveral countries, mainly in South America, before coming to the United States in 1881 and making his residence in New York City. In 1883 he came to Kansas, settling in Scranton. He lived there until 1920 when he came to Topeka. For a time he was in business, but he had been retired several years. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Harry WALKER; one son, Louis MATIGNON, jr., and five grandchildren all of Topeka. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
