Resident of Kansas Past 55 Years Was Born in New York. Rufus H. McCLAIR, 81, a resident of Kansas for the past 55 years, died at his home in Carbondale yesterday morning. He was born in Macomb, N.Y., in 1851, went to Michigan while a young man, and later moved to Kansas. He lived in Carbondale and vicinity for 50 years. Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Agnes L. McCLAIR; two daughters, Lauretta McCLAIR, and Bertha McCLAIR, Carbondale; a son, Charles, of Newark, N.J.; a brother, John McCLAIR, Morristown, N.Y., and a sister, Mrs. Blanche O'NEILL, Ontario, Calif. Funeral services will be held at the Carbondale Community church at 3 o'clock Sunday.
