Moore, Long-Time Kansan, Dies in Wichita. Edward L. MOORE died Thursday in Wichita. Mr. MOORE was the father of Ward MOORE, news editor of The Daily Capital. Mr. MOORE was born in Indiana June 14, 1872, and came to Kansas at about the age of five with his parents, who settled in Montgomery County. He had lived in Wichita since 1928, and for the last 12 years had operated a cabinet shop there. He lived in Ottawa for serveral years, where he operated a grocery store for about two years. Prior to that, he had lived in Yates Center for 10 years. Mr. MOORE is survived by his wife, Rachel Victoria; his son; two brothers, and a sister. Funeral services will be conducted in Wichita at 10 a.m. Saturday and in Coffeyvile at 2 p.m. Sunday.
