Rev. J. Kansas Morgan, Editor and Minister, Dies in Topeka. Rev. J. Kansas MORGAN, 76, lifelong resident of Kansas, editor and minister, died Monday morning at the Methodist Home for the Aged. He was bron December 5, 1858, near Lawrence, Kan. He entered the ministry in 1903. He was formerly editor of a paper at Neodesha. He served as pastor at churchs in Bartlett, Longton,Pittsburg, Talmadge and Wakefield. His wife died in 1926. In 1927 he retired from the ministry and entered the Methodist Home May 23, 1933. He is survived by a sister, mrs. E.L.W. JONES, Neodesha; and three children, Mrs. Eunice Ethel ARMSTRONG, Longford, Kan.; Mrs. Isabel Josephine SHIPLEY, Frankfort, Kan.; and Elmer Thomas MORGAN, Frankfort. Funeral services will be at the Methodist church in Neodesha Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
