Jonathan D. Norton, Jr., Dies at Home in Kansas City. Blood poisoing, orginating from a soft corn on his foot, resulted in the death of Jonathan Dorr Norton, Jr., yesterday at Kansas City, Mo. He had been suffering from the poisioning three months. He was a son of Col. and Mrs. Jonathan D. Norton, Sr., of Topeka. Colonel Norton is former sheriff of Shawnee county and is well known in local business circles. Jonathan Norton, Jr., was 41 years old and had lived in Topeka most of his life. He is a graduate of Topeka high school. Besides his parents, he is survived by his widow, formerly Miss Edna McCLINTOCK; a son, William S. Norton; and three brothers, Dr. William Norton, of Muscatine, Ia.; David Norton, of Peoria, Ill., and Ralph Norton, traveling passenger agent of the Santa Fe railroad, with headquarters in St. Louis, Mo. The body will be brought to Topeka for burial.
