Truman B. Odell Was Struck by a S.F. Freight Train Saturday. Truman B. ODELL, 73, of 701 Wabash avenue, died in the Santa Fe hospital early Sunday morning from injuries received when his motor car was struck by a Santa Fe train Saturday. the accident occurred at the Golden avenue crossing. He suffered several broken ribs, a broken leg and internal injuries. Mr. ODELL was born in Brooks, Ia., December 25, 1869. He came to Kansas in 1887 and homesteaded on a farm in Sherman county. In 1902 he located on farm near Berryton where he resided until he moved to Topeak in 1924. He was a member of the Oakland Christian church and the Modern Woodmen. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. N.L. TEVIS, and Mrs. Paul HOWBERT, Berryton; two brothers, E.E. ODELL, Corning, Ia., and Jake ODELL, California; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at the Oakland Christian church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
