An early pioneer of Kansas, Mrs. Minnie Idell PUGH, 91, of 1043 Mulvane, died at her home Tuesday afternoon after an extended illness. She was born July 14, 1870, at Greensburg, Ind., and was a life-long member of the Oakland Methodist Church. She and her brother came to Kansas when she was 14 and lived with the late J. Frank LOGAN family. They lived on a farm east of Oakland across the road from the Robert Pugh farm, which is now the Municipal Airport of Topeka. She married the late William S. PUGH and after his death, lived many years with his mother on the Pugh farm. She was a practical nurse and during the later years of her life lived with the M.P. KELSEY family. Scott KELSEY Sr., Robert Pugh and J. Frank Logan, with their families, were early settlers in the Kaw Valley. She was a member of the Priscilla Club. Surviving are three cousins, daughters of J. Frank Logan, Mrs. A.F. CAMPBELL of Decatur, Ill., Mrs. Gilbert WORLEY of Kansas City and Mrs. Martha DEAVER of San Jose, Calif. Friends may call at the McMichael Memorial Home this afternoon and evening.
