Rev. A. E. Peterson.

Members of the Missouri Methodist conference, in session in Joplin at the time,
conducted the funeral services for the Rev. A.E. PETERSON, 68, former Topeka
pastor, who died in Joplin September 30, following a long illness. The Rev. Mr.
PETERSON was pastor of the Oakland Methodist Chruch about 1920 and for four
years following was head of the young people's work of this area. He also had
preached at Grantville, Admire, Wamego and Kansas City before going to Missouri
where he was superintendent of the Springfield district.
