Platt. Mrs. Emily S. PLATT, 80, of 1312 West 13th, died Saturday in a local hospital. She was the widow of the Rev. Dwight H. PLATT. She was born in Winneconnee, Wis., April 11, 1870, and came to Kansas with her parents as a young girl. She was married to the Rev. Mr. PLATT in 1898. He served as pastor of Congregational churches in Smith Center, Overbrook, Alma, Neb. Mrs. PLATT had made her home in Topeka since 1914, coming here from Overbrook at the death of her husband. She was a member of Central Congregational Church and organizations of the church, and of the Faculty Club of Washburn University. She leaves two daughters, Miss Ruth PLATT of the home, a Crane Junior High School teacher, and Miss Lois PLATT, case work with the Family and Children's Service Association of Kansas City, Kan.
