Leona Lucas Dead at 81; Rites Pending.

Mrs. Leona L. LUCAS, 81, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.E. DOWNIE,
1258 Topeka, Thursday. Mrs. Lucas had lived here seven years.

She was born Nov. 2, 1879, in Blackford County, Ind., and was a member of the
Christian Church and Eastern Star at Hartford City, Ind.

Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. H.E. DISLER, of Edmonton, Canada, and
Mrs. Ruth HEINE of Santa Ana, Calif.; one brother, O.O. LEWIS of Flint,Mich.;
and one granddaughter.

Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary will announce arrangements.
