Rigby Dies. Victim of Appendicitis Was Wife of Postmaster in Topeka. Olive Blanche RIGBY, wife of Postmaster W.O. Rigby, died at 8:15 o'clock this morning in a local hospital. Mrs. Rigby had undergone two operations for appendicitis, one of them last Thursday and one Monday. Mrs. Rigby was born in Somerset, Ohio, October 8, 1871. She married W.O. Rigby, February 12, 1896. Before her death she was a member of the Toltec Rite, a Masonic order, and of the Masonic unit of the American Red Cross. Mrs. Rigby had been very active in Red Cross work in Topeka, taking an active part in all of the Red Cross war fund and membership campaigns. SHe also worked faithfully in other branches of war activities; notably for the liberty loans, the thrift stamp and baby bond campaigns, the Salvation Army campaign, and the Y.M.C.A. and Y.W.C.A. campaigns. Mrs. Rigby was a member of the Mysotis club, the Topeka Avenue club, the Elwell club, and others.
