J.L. Rippetoe.
J.L. RIPPETOE died Sunday after a short illness at the home of his son, Fern
Rippetoe, at Wayside. Graveside funeral services will be held at Meriden
cemetery, Wednesday, at 3:30 o'clock. Mr. Rippetoe was born near Meriden and
lived many years in that community. He later lived several years in Hoyt and for
about 20 years near Eskridge before moving to Wayside where he has resided for
the past 25 years. He is survived by three sons, Fern J., and Ralph of Wayside
and Dewey of Wichita.
