Rogers Dies At Overbrook. Mrs. Lillian R. ROGERS, 72, Carbondale, died Tuesday at an Overbrook nursing home. She was born Jan. 16, 1893 at Scranton and spend most of her life in the Carbondale community except for a few years in Topeka. She was a member of the Carbondale Community Congregational Church. Survivors include her husband, Earl Rogers, at home; two sons, Gilbert E. Rogers, Route 1, Carbondale, and James E. Rogers, Leoti; two brothers, Oren MARKLEY, 1518 E. 6th, and Lloyd Markley, Blue Rapids; three sisters, Mrs. Olive NICOLAY, Topeka, Mrs. Mary E. HURST, 307 Rice Road, and Mrs. Ruby BRYANT, Nevada, Mo; five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Carbondale Community Congregational Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, south of Carbondale. Baker Funeral Home at Overbrook is in charge of arrangements.
