John M. Schlodder.

Holton.--John Martin SCHLODDER, 74, Holton, died in his home Saturday of an
apparent heart attack.

Mr. Schlodder was born June 5, 1893, in Ft. Madison, Iowa. He was a retired
farmer and had lived in Holton most of his life. He was a member of the Holton
Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Schlodder of the home; two daughters,
Mrs. Clyde Louise FERNKOPF, Circleville, and Mrs. Leonard Mary Ann NISSEN,
Wetmore; a son, John Schlodder, Jr., Holton; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie
SCHWANKE, Lecompton, Miss Mabel Schlodder and Miss Grace Schlodder, both of 920
Cambridge, Topeka; four brothers, Fred Schlodder, 4003 N. Central, Topeka, Frank
Schlodder, and Dewey Schlodder, both of 920 Cambridge, Topeka, and Albert
Schlodder, Holton; 11 grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Mercer Funeral Home, Holton. Burial
will be in Holton Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Heart Fund.
