Lyndon.--L.W. (Tim) SCHOEPFLIN, 75, died Friday at his home here. He was born Sept. 6, 1889 at Worden in Douglas County. He spent his early life in iron and steel construction work in Illinois and California. He later farmed near Lyndon in Osage County. He moved to Lyndon after he retired four years ago. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Lyndon. He was married to Ellen BURKDOLL July 15, 1911 at Lyndon. Besides his wife, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ray NYDELL, 1015 Wayne in Topeka; a son, Ted Schoepflin, Downey, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Lottie SWISHER, Lyndon, and Mrs. Mary WOODWARD, Oberlin; two brothers, Harve Schopflin, Lyndon, and Charles Schoepflin, Ingelwood, Calif., and a granddaughter. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Lyndon Methodist Church with burial in Lyndon Cemetery. Shaffer Mortuary at Lyndon is in charge of arrangements.
