The Topeka Daily State Journal, Wednesday, October 22, 1919
The funeral of Mrs. Belle SHIELDS, aged 52, who died Tuesday at a local
hospital, will be held at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon from the Kansas Avenue M.E.
church. Burial in Rochester cemetery. Mrs. Shields was the daughter of the late
Ezekiel MARPLE.
