Sloop Dies at 67; Rites Sunday. Mrs. Helen Duff SLOOP, 67, died Friday at her home, 2700 Wisconsin, after a long illness. She was born May 22, 1896 at Lyndon and had lived in Topeka since 1942. She was a member of the Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter No. 466, both at Lyndon. Suvivors include here husband, Charles H. Sloop, of the home; two sons, Max (Bud) Sloop, 3406 Westwood Drive, and Charles E. Sloop, 2226 Burnett Road; a daughter, Margaret Sloop, Winfield; a sister, Mrs. mabel ANSTAETT, Osage City; a brother Alvin Duff, 1148 Medford; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Methodist Church at Lyndon. Burial will be in Lyndon Cemetery. Shaffer Mortuary at Lyndon is in charge of arrangements.
