Had Been Ill Several Months With Heart Trouble. George SPENCER, 26, a member of the firm of F.M. Spencer & Sons, a well known contracting firm in Topeka, died at 1 o'clock this morning at his home, 1172 Mulvane street, after an illness of several months from heart trouble. Mr. Spencer was born and raised in Topeka. He attended the Topeka High school and five years ago became a member of the firm in which his fathe rand brothers are partners. He took an active interest in the civic problems of Topeka and was a well-known figure in the Masonic lodge. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Elks, Orient Lodge No. 51, and Abdallah Shrine club. He also was a thirty-second degree Mason. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.M. Spence, a brother, E. F. Spencer, and a sister, Mrs. Roy HOPE, all of Topeka.
