J.C. STANSBURY, 89, of 800 Oakland, a resident of Topeka 44 years, died Wednesday in a Topeka hospital. He was born in Stanberry, Mo., March 23, 1872, and was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Eva Florence Stansbury, 826 Chester; three sons, A. Floyd Stansbury, Route 3, J.C. Paul Stansbury of Baltimore, Md., and Harold W. Stansbury, 931 Green; three daughters, Mrs. Mae ALEXANDRIA of Independence, Mo., Mrs. Mildred POLLOM, 1228 Arter, and Mrs. June HARPER, 1038 Kellam; a brother, Bert Stansbury of Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Effie BROOKS and Mrs. Ruby BROOKS, both of Stanberry; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
