Stephens Funeral will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday for Mrs. Marie V. STEPHENS, 57, Route 6, in the Penwell-Gabel Chapel with burial in Topeka Cemetery. She died Friday in a Topeka hospital after a long illness. She and her husband operated the Stephens' Confectionary at 4th and Adams. She was born Dec. 8, 1903, at St. Joseph, Mo. She and her husband at one time lived at 333 Adams here. Mrs. Stephens was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church at St. Joseph. Surviving are her widower, Samuel Stephens, of the home; her mother, Mrs. Nellie STOUT of St. Joseph; four brothers, George STOUT of Independence, Mo., Arthur Stout of Olathe, Thomas Stout of Wichita and Henry Stout of Florida; four sisters, Mrs. Aline MILLS of Mayville, Mo., Mrs. Edna BORDEAUS of Kansas City, Mrs. Etta LIEGMAN, of Englewood, Calif., and Mrs. Emma H.
