John E. Swan.

John E. SWAN, 80, of Osage City, a retired farmer, died at his home Wednesday.
He was born Nov. 5, 1880, in Sweden and came to Kansas in 1887 with his parents.
He moved to the Randolph Community and later to Silver Lake before retiring in
Osage City.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lella(Leila?) Swan of the home; a son, John Robert
Swan, 2320 Moundview; a step-daughter, Mrs. Marguarette SALSBURY of Osage City;
a sister, Mrs. Margaret B. BECHTELHEIMER of Los Angeles, Calif.; a brother,
Albert Swan, 429 Elmwood; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren, and several
nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Rochester Cemtery. 

Parker Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.
