B. Sweet. Well Known Topekan Was Interested in Many Big Enterprises. Timothy Bailey SWEET, 77 years old, for many years president of the Kaw Milling Co., died Wednesday evening at his home, 231 Topeka avenue. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in Topeka cemetery. No flowers. Mr. Sweet came to topeka in 1872 from Champaign, Ill., were he was cashier of a bank. He organized and was for 25 years president of the Kansas Loan and Trust Co., and its successor, the Trust company of America. He was also president of the Kaw Milling Co., a director of the Bank of Topeka, of the Topeka Pure Milk Co., and of the Bell Telephone Co. He was a trustee of Washburn college, and was vice president of the board of trustees of the Methodist Home for the Aged. Mr. Sweet is survived by three daughters, Susie B. and Annie B. of Topeka; Mary B. of Seattle, and by one son, Paul B. of New York.
