George E. SCHERER, 87, who had lived on Route No. 3, North Topeka, for 30 years prior to entering the Lutheran Home for the Aged in Lincoln, Neb., seven year ago, died Thursday morning in Lincoln, according to word received here. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen lodge for 50 years. He joined in Abilene and later transferred to Topeka lodge, No. 3. He is survived by a daughter, MRs. Henry KANNARR, North Topeka; and three grandchildren, Mrs. Anna KIMBALL, Harold KANNARR, and Ruth KANNARR, all of Topeka and three great-grandchildren. The body will be brought to Topeka for funeral services. Arrangements have not been completed.
