Jacob Sheetz Is Dead.
Born in Germany He Had Live in Shawnee County 36 Years.

Jacob SHEETZ, 74, died at his home in Richland yesterday. he came to Kansas from
Germany 42 years ago, returning soon for his family, and for the past 36 years
has lived in Shawnee county. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Katherine SHEETZ,
and seven children, Jacob SHEETZ, Topeka; Katie CARISCH, Richland; Henry SHEETZ,
San Luis Obispo, Calif.; Mrs. Anna BARNARD, Topeka; August SHEETZ, Topeka; Mrs.
Clara McDOWELL, Richland; Eugene SHEETZ, Monrovia, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at the Richland United Brethren church at 3:30 Sunday.
Burial in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
