Steyer.

Mrs. Clara STEYER, 71, Iola, died Monday morning in the Methodist Home for the
Aged. She was a daughter of the late Rev. John SHANK, who organized the
Methodist church of Iola.
Mrs. STEYER was born in Morgantown, Ind., July 26, 1863. She moved with her
parents to Iola 53 years ago. Her husband, Henry STEYER, died December 5, 1923.
She came to the Methodist home May 31, 1928. 
She is survived by a sister, Miss Ada SHANK, of the Methodist Home here; and a
son, Earl STEYER, Kansas City, Mo.
Funeral services and burial will be in Iola. Arrangements have not been
completed.
