Todd. Dr. James Morillo TODD, 75, former resident of Shawnee County, died April 6 in San Antonio, Texas. Coming to Kansas as a boy in 1876, he lived in Auburn Township. Graduate of College of Emporia, he was in Co. H., 22nd Kansas Regiment in the Spanish-American war, and for ten years was national chaplain of Spanish-American War Veterans. During the first World War he served overseas with the YMCA. A Presbyterian minister, he had pastorates at McPherson; Humboldt; San Antonio, Texas; Emporia First; Sterling, Calif.; and later again in Texas. He was teacher of the Mens Brotherhood Class in San Antonio for many years, and had a high office in the Masonic order. Survivors are his wife; two sons, John Todd, San Antonio, and Paul Todd, U.S. Army overseas; a daughter, Mrs. Milton AMAS, Humboldt; a brother, Charles M. Todd, Auburn; a sister, Edna Todd McARTHUR, Topeka; and five grandchildren.
