Leaves Many Descendants.
Husband, Children, Grandchildren And Great-Grandchildren, Survive.

Mrs. Lavenia N. THOMAS, 77, wife of S.H. THOMAS, died at her home, 1205 East
Sixth avenue, yesterday morning. Besides her husband, she is survived by five
sons, Joe L. THOMAS, Ellsworth; W.G. THOMAS, Tulsa, Okla.; Harry N. THOMAS,
Collyer, Kan.; J.B. THOMAS, Sacramento, Calif.; and John THOMAS, Denver, Colo.;
three daughters, Mrs. Emma WADE, Geneseo, Kan.; Mrs. Ella SUGHRUE, WIchita; and
Mrs. Sarah PROVINCE, Marion, 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 
Her body will lie in state at Penwell's chapel until noon Thursday. 
Funeral services wil be at the East Side Methodist church at 2 o'clock Thursday
afternoon. Burial will be in Topeka cemetery.
