Pioneer Real Estate Dealer Came To Kansas in 1871. Albert TOMSON, 80, pioneer real estate dealer of Topeka, died Wednesday at Stormont hospital. Mr. TOMSON was born in Ohio in 1851. He came to Kansas in 1871 and settled near Silver Lake. He taught school for a number of years in Shawnee and Nemaha counties. Following this he engaged in the hardware business. At the time of his death he maintained a real estate office in the Columbian building. In 1882, Mr. TOMSON married Nancy E. SHELLABARGER who survives him. Other survivors include a daughter, Harriet A. TOMSON of the home address, 1420 Jewell avenue; a sister, Mrs. D.F. HOOVER of Topeka, and a brother, John TOMSON of Elmont. Mr. TOMSON was a member of the First Presbyterian church and the Shawnee County Old Settlers society. Funeral services will be held at SHELLABARGER's chapel Friday morning at 10 o'clock.
