Underwood.

Mrs. Myrtle J. UNDERWOOD, 46, died Monday night at her home, 1501 Washburn
avenue. She was born in Saratoga, Ia., in 1888 and came to Kansas in 1901. She
has been a resident of Topeka since 1919. She was a member of the First
Presbyterian church.
Surviving her are her husband, Jesse C. UNDERWOOD; four brothers, Harry DAVIS
and Roy DAVIS, Hutchinson, Kan.; Evan DAVIS, Tulsa, Okla., and Gilbert DAVIS,
Oklahoma City, Okla.; and two sisters, Mrs. Edna M. MITCHELL, Oklahoma City, and
Mrs. Katherine BARTLETT, Topeka.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
