Vanderslice. Jacob Nelson VANDERSLICE, 60, of Lyndon, died Tuesday in an Emporia hospital after an illness of five weeks. A prominent farmer and stockman, he had lived in the Lyndon community for the past 40 years. Mr. VANDERSLICE was born January 20, 1891, in Miami County, Kansas. He was married to Mary JOHNSTON, December 16, 1925, at Ottawa, Kan. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Robert RAKE and a son, Robert VANDERSLICE, all of the home.
