Deaths and Funerals.

WALKER--Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda WALKER, 79, who died at her home in
Emporia, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock form Penwell's chapel,
burial in Rochester cemetery. Mrs. Walker was an old resident of Topeka, livin
gon the Northside for many years before moving to Emporia about ten years ago.
Mrs. Walker is survived by four daughters, Mrs. A. KARR, of Topeka; Mrs. Mary
GRANT of California; Miss Jennie WALKER and Mrs. Winnie RICE of Emporia.
