Mrs. Isabelle WALKER, 74, of 1024 Buchanan, died Sunday at a local hospital. She was born Nov. 4, 1886, in Louisville, Ky., and lived nearly all her life in Topeka. Her husband, the late Joseph Walker, a Topeka fireman, died in 1951. Mrs. Walker attended Lane School in Topeka. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, in which she was a superintendent of the Sunday school, director of the Cradle Ross Department and member of the senior choir, Lydia Raimey Mission Circle, and Deaconess Board. She wa also a director of the church Bible school and local Congress of Baptist Churches. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lorena BRUCE of 1117 W. 11th; three sons, Claude of 907 W. 7th, Andrew of Columbus, Ohio, and Clifford of 901 College; a brother, McKinley WARFIELD of Detroit; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
