Mrs. Eliza Ward.
Mrs. Eliza WARD, of Hoyt, died in a local hospital, Wednesday. She was born in
Western Nebraska, and lived in Sparks for 15 years.
She has been a resident of Hoyt for the past 35 years.
Surviving are a husband, John Ward of the home; one son, W.H. Ward of Hot
Springs, Ark.; one daughter, Mrs. Claude COLLINS, of Sparks; one brother, Frank
SCOTT of Marysville; one sister, Mrs. Lena GLAHN of Oxford, Neb., and six
grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church in Hoyt, Friday, at 10
a.m. with burial at Sparks, Kan. The body will rest in state at the Eslinger
Funeral Home, until 9 a.m. Friday.
