John G. Warfel

John G. WARFEL, 83, 214 East Fourth, died Saturday afternoon in a Topeka
hospital. He was born May 27, 1827, in Newcastle, Pa., and had been a resident
of Kansas for 54 years. He moved to Topeka three years ago from Sabetha where he
had lived for 63 years.. He was a member of the United Brethren Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Nellie Warfel of the home; four daughters, Mrs.
Leona SAMSON, Parsons, Mrs. Lloyd NICCUM, 324 Topeka Avenue, Miss Sarah Warfel,
124 Topeka Avenue; Mrs. Perry BOLTZ, Oneida; two sons, Oscar Warfel, 2345 Wayne,
and Louis Warfel, Winfield; a brother, J.E. Warfel, Marysville; two sisters,
Mrs.Sarah TWEFFER, Morrill, and Mrs. mattie FOREKER, Harrisonville, Mo., six
grandchildren.
