John G. Warfel.

John G. WARFEL, 83, of 214 East Fourth, died Saturday afternoon in a Topeka
hospital.
He was born on May 27, 1867, in Newcastle, Pa., and had been a resident of
Kansas for 66 years. He moved to Topeka three years ago from Sabetha where he
had lived for 63 years. Mr. Warfel was a member of the United Brethren Church.
Survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Nellie Warfel of the home; four daughters, Mrs.
Leona SAMSON of Parsons, Mrs. Lloyd NICCUM of 324 Topeka, Miss Sarah Warfel of
124 Topeka, and Mrs. Perry BOLTZ of Oneida; two sons, Louis Warfel of Winfield,
Oscar Warfel of 2345 Wayne; a brother, J.E. Warfel of Marysville; two sisters,
Mrs. Sarah TREFFER of Morrill, and Mrs. Mattie FOREEAKER of Harrisonville, Mo.;
and six grandchildren.
