Welles. Services will be Monday at Miami, Fla., for Joseph L. WELLES, 44, Route 6, wo died Thursday in a Kansas City, Mo., hospital whre he had been a patient about three months. He had a kidney ailment. He was born Nov. 18, 1923 at Brooklyn, N.Y., and had lived in Topeka about 12 years. He had owned and operated the Welles Rare Coin Collection Company at 929 Kansas. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Chicago's branch of the National Showman's League and was a member of the board of the Numismatic Assn. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nancy Welles, at home; and a brother, David Weltchek, New York, N.Y. Burial will be in Southern Memorial Park Cemetery at Miami, Fla.
