Sam Wier, 74, Dies; Funeral Rites Pending.

Sam WIER, 74, 624 W. Grant, died Tuesday in a local hospital. 

He was born Nov. 9, 1886, in Birmingham, Ill., and lived in Topeka about 45 years.

Surivors include his widow, Mrs. Ollie B. Wier of the home; two daughters, Mrs.
Mabel MAUER of Deming, N.M. and Mrs. Betty EDWARDS of Napa, Calif.; 10
grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Dollie VENTUYL and Mrs. Daisy LARKEY, both
of LaCygne.

Parker Mortuary will announce arrangements.
