General Dewey WILDER, 57, Route 1, died Saturday in a Topeka hosptial where he had been a patient since Feb. 25. He had a heart ailment. He was born March 17, 1910 in Morgan County, Ky., and had lived in Topeka since 1914. He was a Baptist. He was a gardener. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marie Wilder, at home; four sons, Steven D. Wilder, 518 Western, Lewiw Wilder, Waco, Tex., Wilson (Red) Wilder, Vietnam, and Dewey Wilder, Houston, Tex.; eight daughters, Mrs. Beverly WALL, Houston, Tex., Mrs. Glorie McCONNELL, 825 N. Madison, Mrs. Kathy J. MYERS, Mrs. Joyce E. BAILEY, Mrs. Carol S. BEAM and Mrs. Barbara J. IRWIN, all of Topeka, Mrs. Sandra K. NORTHRUP, Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Jimmy Lee WILSON, 631 N. Clay; two sistes, Mrs. Rosie WELLS, 429 Leland, and Mrs. Carrie Mae STOVER, 2400 W. 2nd; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
