L.J. Wingert Was Resident of Shawnee County Since 1874. L.J. WINGERT, 1714 Clay street, a resident of Shawnee county since 1874, died at his home this morning. He was a painter until a few years ago, when he was disabled by an accident. He is survived by a widow and eight children; seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren, three brothers and one sister. The children: Hary J., Pittsburg, Kan.; Louis P., St. Louis; Walter, Wichita, Kan.; Mrs. Anna V. FELKER, Omaha; Mrs. Eleanor FLEISCH, Mrs. George HAMAKER and Misses Mary and Lida WINGERT, all of Topeka. E. Wayne Wingert, formerly a reporter for The State Journal and now with the Red Cross magazine in New York, was a grandson. The deceased was a member of the Fraternal Aid Union and National Union. The funeral of Lewis John WINGART, who died Monday, will be held at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning from the Church of the Holy Name. Burial in Mount Calvary cemetery.
