Mrs. Amelia Woolridge
Mrs. Amelia WOOLRIDGE, about 100, died Wednesday at the home of a grandson,
Solomon C. DAWSON, 220 Jefferson.
Mrs. Woolridge was bron in Montgomery, Ala., and had been a resident of Topeka
abotu 75 years. She was a member of the Church of God in Christ.
Surviving are two granddaughters, Mrs. Lucille COWAN and Mrs. P.H. HARRISON of
Topeka; three grandsons, Solomon C. DAWSON and Willlie THOMPSON, of Topeka; and
Aaron DOUGLAS of New York City; two great-granddaughters, Lettie DAWSON of St.
Louis and Alberta DAWSON of Topeka, and one step-son, Warren Woolridge of Topeka.
The body was taken to Gaines and Son Funeral Home pending final arrangements.
