Frederick William WHITNEY, 40, 2405 W. 25th Drive, died Thursday at a Topeka hospital after a short illness. He was born May 12, 1924, at Corning and lived in Topeka 25 years. He was employed by Moorman-Buick in Topeka until his illness. He was a member of Methodist Chruch Eagles Lodge. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Marian at home; a daughter, Klee Anne Whitney, at home, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Whitney, 134 Western. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Whitney will lie in state until service time at the mortuary.
